a  PhD  student  at  the  University  of  Nairobi  conducting  a  PhD  in  Clinical  Psychology  on  the  topic  of  Liberation  Psychology  will  be  expounding  with  us,  a  look  at  the  tools  of  modern  mental  healthcare  and  see  how  much  they  have  been  able  to  take  the  context  into  consideration,  how  psychopoliticcally  valid  are  they.  We  explore  what  the  modern  wellness  industry  is  based  on  and  the  philosophy  and  cultures  that  govern  them  and  if  the  priority  of  the  patient  is  at  the  heart  of  it  all.
