Pheodor Mundia
Pheodor Mundia is Senior Global Sustainability Manager, Unilever, tasked with digitizing and embedding financial services to 5 million SMEs in Unilever’s value chain allowing them to grow. Prior to this he was Strategic Business Manager to the Managing Director and was instrumental in crafting and landing the 5-year strategy for 6 East African countries targeting over 300 million consumers. Past roles include Marketing Manager for Sunlight the no.1 Home Care brand in East Africa where he is credited in driving market leadership in the laundry category and launching the first 100% recycled bottle in Africa for Sunlight scourer. He has held other roles are in; marketing, shopper and customer marketing leading teams across East Africa in FMCG, beverages industry (SABMiller/AB InBev) and technology (Google).
He is the immediate past Chairman of the Marketing Society of Kenya, leading the board and society with a membership of over 3000 marketers through which he co-founded the National Business Compact on COVID (NBCC). Through NBCC he led a COVID behaviour change campaign reaching 15 million East Africans raising over 4 million euros.
An experienced marketer and a turnaround commercial leader with a track record of driving brands back to profitability and growth.
Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Planning at the University of Edinburgh Business School – UK, with a degree in International Business Administration in Marketing from United States International University.
In his free time, he restores his 1965 Opel Rekord classic car, enjoys road trips with his family and a good round of golf.
His purpose is to create and offer a platform to individuals or organizations to unleash their potential through linking them to opportunities that impact lives positively.
