I  am  an  avid  fan  of  technology  and  innovation,  and  continually  look  for  ways  in  which  technology  can  be  a  platform  for  solving  all  sorts  of  problems,  in  Kenya  and  beyond.\nMy  involvement  with  the  technology  community  in  Kenya  via  Skunkworks  and  currently  as  Executive  Director  at  the  iHub  is  directly  linked  to  catalysing  innovation  in  Kenya.\nI  have  worked  in  the  telecommunications  industry  for  more  than  nine  years,  seven  of  those  supporting,  deploying  and  managing  network  management  and  operational  support  systems.\nI  have  in  depth  knowledge  and  experience  in  OSS  systems  oversight,  where  I  have  been  OSS  Technical  and  Team  Lead  (in  EA)  for  the  last  two  years.\nAmong  my  roles  has  been  supporting  the  various  Customer  Teams  in  the  region  (Usually  in  eastern  Africa  but  occasionally  beyond)  in  solution  development  and  deployment,  as  well  as  management  of  existing  systems  at  various  Communication  Service  Providers  (CSPs)  in  the  region.
