I  am  a  technology  researcher,  data  scientist,  entrepreneur,  investor  and  futurist.\nI  am  curious  about  the  intersection  of  technology,  data,  finance  and  sustainability.  I  have  done  extensive  work  and  research  on  the  opportunities  and  social  impacts  of  the  Internet;  the  role  of  open  data  applications  in  increasing  access  to  information;  the  potential  for  technologies  and  data  to  improve  governance  and  urban  resilience  and;  financing  technology  start-ups  in  Africa.\nI  am  also  a  co-founder  of  a  commercial  data  science  and  management  consultancy.\nI  have  a  deep  interest  in  culture  and  history  and  have  travelled  to  several  countries  in  different  continents.I  am  also  a  budding  oenophile  and  hope  to  have  my  own  vineyards  and  winery  soon.\nI  am  looking  to  offer  research,  business  design  and  data  science  advisory  to  budding  African  start-ups  as  well  as  emerging  market  investors.  I  also  aspire  to  be  a  multi-sectoral  investor.
