Known  as  “The  legendary  Drummer”,  Paco  Séry  is  greatly  recognized  for  his  prowess  on  the  drum  kit.  Every  jazz  artist  worth  his  salt  will  tell  you  that  Paco  Séry’s  name  is  etched  in  music  history  for  his  tremendous  stroke.  Both  ancestral  and  modern  African  influences  will  be  found  in  his  style  of  music.

His  talent  has  been  of  benefit  to  many  notable  artists,  including  Nina  Simone,  Eddy  Louiss,  Jaco  Pastorius,  Dianne  Reeves,  Salif  Keita,  Papa  Wemba,  Marvin  Gaye,  Bobby  McFerrin,  Angélique  Kidjo  and  so  many  others.  He  is  also  a  winner  of  Grammy  Awards,  including  the  1996  “Best  World  Music  Album”  award  and  a  2010  award  for  his  participation  in  the  last  live  Zawinul  album  “Syndicate”.
